How will my Outdoor Poly Furniture ship?
All poly furniture ships factory direct to you from its manufacturer. This means your furniture only ships once, resulting in the lowest possible cost to you. Shipments are made via UPS, FedEx Ground, USPS and Common Carrier. Except where noted, all items ship flatpacked, ready for final assembly by you. Always provide us with a physical house or business address and always give us a daytime phone number. Multiple item's ship UPS and FedEx orders may ship and arrive separately. Larger items/orders ship by Common Carrier, the freight company will contact you by telephone to arrange final delivery. Customers may have to work with the delivery driver to assist in the removal of larger items from the truck at curbside. Some trucking companies offer lift-gate services for larger deliveries, understand that this is an optional service and may involve additional charges above FREE shipping.

COVID-19 ALERT!!! UPDATE as of 9/10/2020

Most poly manufacturers were shut down during the covid-19 outbreak and as some of them re opened production were faced with an overload in Spring orders and are playing catch-up for most of the 2020 outdoor furniture season. Since no one stocks this poly furniture, folks are faced with longer shipping times even from the larger big box web stores who also rely on the same manufacturer supply chain to ship to their customers as we do.

Crazy times here in 2020 but understand you may be in a line ordering this furniture right now, its just a matter of which line your in. If you have an order placed with a website and you feel confident, they are communicating good and your willing to wait than stay with them. Try not to jump around from site to site ordering unless you have cause because of how busy things are. Manufacturers report seeing that customers cancel their order at one site and re ordering with another possibly thinking or being mislead the furniture will ship faster when it will not.

If you need to cancel your order we understand. Please contact us ASAP so we can make sure to get your order canceled with the manufacturer and avoid your furniture shipping out in error. For what its worth if you use a credit card to place your order OutdoorPolyFurniture.com never charges you upfront ( only authorizes ) your credit card and charges when your items ship and are on the way to you. We are hearing reports of some online dealers who are charging folks credit cards up front and when they try to call to get an update can not reach anyone on the phone. Be careful, its not fair to pay for something weeks or even months before you receive it.

How Does the future of poly furniture look?
Most of the poly furniture manufacturers have indicated to their online dealers that for the remainder of 2020 they will be playing catch-up. Truth is the furniture makers need time to stockpile and regroup their operations. The early shut down of these factories in the Spring and start of outdoor furniture season online websites pushed thousands of orders to these companies who were not even in the office to process or take orders.  The root of the issue and one that may not be addressed in 2021 is the fact that online dealers do not stock this furniture and rely as always on pushing orders to the manufacturers and have them shipped directly to the consumer ( called Drop shipping ). A good rule of thumb is when you see “Free Shipping” 99% of the time the item your ordering is not coming to you from the online website but rather from the factory where it’s made.

When is a good time to buy my poly furniture in 2020?
If you want it now in 2020 you’re in a line of some sort. We suggest you ask questions before buying online like when will my item ship, do you charge my credit card up front, where is my furniture shipping from? If you’re ok to wait get in a line and be prepared for the longer than usual leadtime. If not wait until the end of the year or the first part of the new year but understand something. Most poly manufacturers adjust or have their price increases at the beginning quarter of the year so their dealers have time to get their website pricing raised in time for Spring season to start up. Typically all pricing goes up 10-12% every year and rarely stays the same and never rolls back in price. There is no pressure for you but folks need to know what they might be expecting if they wait too long before investing in their outdoor space with poly furniture.

How long until I receive my order?

Once shipped, ground transit time is usually 2-5 business days. Typically, it's longest to the west coast. You can always reach us via email or phone for the latest update and status for your order.

Polywood/Trex Furniture - Polywood announced to all their online dealers on 9/22/20 their lead times were now at 9-10 weeks.  Its important to know this before you buy if your planning on getting and using your polywood this year. FYI Polywood has closed its cushion and metal fabrication plants until further notice. All Euro, Trex Surf City metal and poly furniture is not currently being made. Order your polywood furniture without cushions and return later to order if you need cushions for your polywood furniture.

Do I have to be home to receive delivery?
Other than for large and fully assembled items that are noted as traveling by Common Carrier, you do not have to be home to accept delivery - so ship to a location that is most convenient for you!  

Where do you ship for free?
Free shipping is offered to residential and commercial destinations within the contiguous United States. Free shipping is never offered to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico. Shipping is not available outside the USA. We do regret, we cannot ship to PO and APO boxes, not because we do not support our troops, but because UPS and FedEx Ground do not deliver to APO boxes.  Some of our customers from outside the USA have used BongoMyUS.com and MyAmericanShopper.com.

What about damages during shipping?
High-density poly furniture is rarely damaged during shipment.  However if you receive a damaged item, we will work to correct your order. We may be able to provide necessary pieces and parts to correct an order or we may arrange for items to be picked up by the shipper. If you receive a damaged item and you decide you do not want us to correct your order and you also no longer wish to keep your order, you may return the item under our Return Policy and Procedure.

Please inspect all deliveries immediately upon receipt and if you note damages, contact us within 24 hours and we will file proper claims. UPS, FedEx and Common Carriers may need to inspect damaged items and we ask that you make them available for inspection and pick-up. We may also need pictures of damaged items. If you note damages and the delivery was by Common Carrier, it is very important note the damage, even slight, on the driver's receipt at the time of delivery and to contact us within 24 hours. If the damages appear to be significant, note the damage on the driver’s receipt, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately with the details including the name of the freight company. For damages that were hidden and not noted at the time of Common Carrier delivery, you still must contact us within 24 hours for us to be able to help you.
